Not much has been achieved music wise. I'd feel guilty over the harp and clarinet were it not for the fact that I already feel bad over the recorder... However, I'm a great fan of Richard Wiseman and he says that people who succeed at resolutions are those who don't give up when they've lapsed; they just press on with the resolution so - I'm pressing on!

Is anyone still doing this? I have to say that I have achieved almost nothing on the lyre - I made a start and then all sorts of other things came along and got in the way. However, I am intending to get back to it once I have a bit more time. From now till the end of May looks very busy (how did I ever find the time to work??) but it would be good to do some over summer. Maybe I will try a carol - kill two birds with one stone!

I am! It's just that not much has been accomplished from a practical point of view. From a theoretical, thinking about it point of view then a lot has been accomplished! I'm treating this as part of the carol thing too. It's a bit silly here at the moment as we try to bring our 'garden' under control... When I don't practise for a bit and then go back to it, I'm always impressed that I'm not as bad as I think I might be given I haven't practised for ages. The main problem is I will have forgotten all of the bass clef - yet again!
