elves will have transformed that lot into a pathway I hadn't thought of that. Are elves any good at that sort of thing?
Judging by their progress last night, not as good as they are at making shoes or doing housework.

Judging by their progress last night, not as good as they are at making shoes or doing housework. Sigh. I was hopeful for a bit then. Raining today. We looked at the soil mud and decided against it.The polytunnel has stayed up overnight which is a positive. We sited it in a frost pocket originally (not intentionally) and now I wonder if we've moved it to the hurricane zone as it's near the greenhouse... I'm concerned that the greenhouse might flatten the polytunnel when it takes off. But Mr Z thinks they will both airlift to the nearest town... It's a weird Spring weather-wise...

We're gardening. Polytunnel is now fully functioning. I've strimmed vast areas of the 'garden' and one more day of strimming left. The it will be about time to start again. It looks awful as if someone has cut it with a knife and fork. Mr Z has zoomed ahead with the new veg patch and we've more or less got the old patch ready for planting. The greenhouse still stands but we're pretty sure we're going to get something else... we can't decide what... It's very windy there. More or less in a hurricane zone.
And we've had rain and some rain and a bit of rain... Today is really cold - down to freezing overnight and it looks like there was a frost.

We're decided to have our wobbly greenhouse replaced with a polytunnel. We've had enough of putting up large unwieldy things and Mr Z is now 70 as well so feels a bit more sympathetic towards my position of I don't want to do that thanks! So, it's being erected for us later in the year. We've decided that we'll put up another small polytunnel though as we both feel comfortable with that. All the years of camping as a child have left us with small poly tunnel erection skills. It's only 3m by 2m and we've both put up bigger tents than that!
We're still digging! Yesterday, we finished the rhubarb patch. One day we may have rhubarb!

It's raining!!!! Hurrah!
Our new poly tunnel is coming in June and it's being erected for us. All we have to do is to clear the current greenhouse and take it down... They did say we could postpone if we want to but we decided to go for it now...
